The host city: Torino

Come and discover Torino, the ideal Italian location to host WordCamp Europe 2024!

The city of Torino, in the North-western Italy, is at the forefront of technology and innovation. It is home to several universities, research centers, and tech companies, making it a hub for the tech industry in Italy. The is well-connected to other parts of Europe, with an international airport and good transportation links to other cities. This makes it easy for attendees from all over Europe to travel to the conference. But it’s not just a perfect conference place: Torino is a city rich in history and traditions that offers cultural and fun activities at very affordable prices.

Visitors to Torino can explore the city’s many museums, including the Museum of the Risorgimento and the Egyptian Museum, which is home to one of the largest collections of Egyptian artifacts outside of Cairo. And much more. Last but not least, Turin’s baroque architecture and stunning piazzas provide a beautiful setting for WordPressers for nice walks. They will have the chance to take wonderful pictures of the monuments and parks (and then upload them to the WP photo directory!). They can choose from various traditional cafés and restaurants to enjoy our local artisanal pastries and try our world-renowned wines and culinary specialties.

With all of this in mind, you shouldn’t choose Torino as the city host for WordCamp Europe 2024 only because it’s a wonderful, practical, and convenient city.

Torino deserves to host WCEU 2024 because of its community.
